The Holiday Menu

Thanksgiving and Christmas are approaching rapidly and as usual, I am left to design the holiday meals for a family of seven. That isn't easy considering half of my family loves meat, my sister is a sort-of vegetarian, and I (and Avery) are vegans. You could imagine that that means creating a well-rounded meal that puts a smile on everybody's faces.

Every Thanksgiving, I like to add flair to the meal. Last year was Greek, but I think this year, I am going to spin it in a Latin meets Italian way. Think fresh herbs, roasted garlic, pasta, and rich aromatic sensations. Each recipe will be on a separate post, but they are linked here:

Thanksgiving
Eggplant and Pepper Lasagne (vegan)
Chipotle Cranberry Sauce (vegetarian)
Butterflied Turkey with Fennel, Sausage, and Ricotta Stuffing
Smashed Yams (vegetarian)
Baked Garlic Mashed Potatoes (vegetarian)
Vegan Mushroom Gravy (vegan)
Traditional Turkey Gravy
Spinach Gratin (vegetarian)
 Brussels Sprouts, Bacon, and Feta
Pumpkin Pie (vegan)
